PARIS – FORHU Inc. presented its Structured Cognitive Loop (SCL) architecture at VivaTech 2026, pitching it as a way to give enterprises the governance and accountability that "black box" AI models lack.
SCL separates an AI system's performance from its justification. It runs on a five-step cycle: Retrieval, Cognition, Control, Action and Memory. The company says this leaves an audit trail so every decision can be traced and explained.
FORHU did not promise "hallucination-free" output. It described a control mechanism that filters unverified, probabilistic results before they are acted on.
The company linked the launch to the upcoming EU AI Act, which sets transparency and accountability expectations for AI deployed in Europe.
The SCL Architecture: An "Epistemic Operating System"
At the core of FORHU's offering is the SCL architecture, which conceptually separates AI performance from its justifiability—a crucial distinction for regulated sectors like finance and healthcare. This is actualized through a rigorous five-step process known as the R-CCAM cycle: Retrieval, Cognition, Control, Action, and Memory.
By standardizing this cognitive loop, FORHU provides more than a prediction; it offers an audit trail. This "epistemic operating system" ensures that every decision an AI makes is traceable and explainable, shifting the paradigm from blind trust to verifiable intelligence.
